Prague Focus On Nuclear Education & Training
14 February, 2011
Young professionals are the nuclear ‘standard bearers’ of the future – and 2011 promises to be an exciting time for nuclear education and training in Europe, the head of the European Nuclear Energy Leadership Academy (ENELA) has said.

ENELA director Jean-Claude Gauthier said the forthcoming European Nuclear Society (ENS) conference on nuclear engineering, science and technology, NESTet 2011, in Prague next May, would renew collective focus on a topic vital to the future development of nuclear energy.
Mr Gauthier, who is also chair of the NESTet Programme Committee, said he was delighted that the conference would be held back-to-back with the biennial meeting of the ENYGF – European young professionals in the nuclear field.
In a special conference edition of ‘ENS News’, available online, Mr Gauthier discusses the role of Munich-based ENELA, where the first intake of fellows for the Academy’s inaugural programme, the ENELA Leadership Cycle, arrive next month.
