Countdown To ENELA Management Programme

1 April, 2011
The European Nuclear Energy Leadership Academy (ENELA) has confirmed the launch schedule for Europe’s first Executive Programme in nuclear energy.
The first intake of
ENELA Management Programme (EMP) fellows will be in September 2012 and the applications process will open in early February 2012 and run until 1 June 2012.
EMP, designed for young professionals and graduates, will be Europe’s first Executive Programme in nuclear energy and will set a new standard in the field of management and training, specifically for the long-term needs of the nuclear energy community.
EMP senior programme director Xavier Perrette said: “Our goal for EMP since the outset has been to ensure that the programme gives fellows the tools to safe and reliable nuclear energy, while developing enhanced communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
“The Academy’s achievement in educating future managers and executives implies a strong responsibility on our part. As such, we felt it was essential to take recent international issues and events into account, based on responsible and factual analyses. We therefore decided to move the start of EMP training from this year, as originally planned, into 2012.”
Details of the programme are available in the EMP section of our website. Potential candidates for EMP can be notified by e-mail when further information about EMP is posted online – including a reminder when the applications process opens. Simply send an e-mail to the Academy ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and write ‘EMP Notification’ in the subject header.
