WiN Europe & ENELA Sign Cooperation Agreement

1 November, 2011
Women in Nuclear Europe (WiN) has become the latest organisation to formally endorse cooperation with ENELA, the European Nuclear Energy Leadership Academy.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed in Paris recently, during the WiN general assembly, by ENELA director Jean-Claude Gauthier and WiN Europe president Dominique Mouillot (pictured).
Under the terms of the MOU, WiN Europe will help to recruit more women candidates for ENELA’s training programmes and provide mentorship for courses.
Both sides will maintain exchanges of communication materials, give logistical support when organising certain events and encourage cooperation between the organisations on subjects related to peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology.
Other organisations and institutions that have signed partnership and collaboration agreements with ENELA in recent months include the Technische Universität München (TUM), the European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN) and the UK’s National Skills Academy for Nuclear.
